Qualified operating data
Efficient production and quality assurance in the core shop require continuous monitoring of all operating data. We have developed our own production data acquisition system (PDA) for this purpose. It enables the logging and visualization of all consumption data in core production. In addition, the PDA allows data to be retrieved from the office, provided it is networked accordingly.
Functional scope of our production data acquisition system
Our software solution has a versatile range of functions. This includes order management, recipe management, keeping a recipe logbook for registering and logging any recipe changes. In addition to recording data on sand, binder, additive and amine consumption, the monitoring software also outputs production data according to current parameters, cycle times, quantities, core breakage and fault messages. All recipe changes can not only be traced in the recipe logbook file, but can also be printed out (e.g. for archiving purposes). The PDA also records all temperature curves of the connected systems and displays them graphically. The operating mode of the systems and devices as well as current alarm, fault and operating messages are displayed. The PDA also provides a cost overview. The cost rates stored for the individual components are evaluated and displayed. This makes it possible to calculate the effective costs for a mixture or an evaluated quantity. The required data can be called up, filtered and printed out separately for each core sand preparation plant, core shooter, gassing device and central amine or binder supply.
Further features of our production data acquisition system
Our system communicates independently of the control system via an OPC server and is server-client capable. This means that the data can be retrieved via any PC that is connected to the same network. The individual adaptation of the software to the customer's conditions is carried out by our commissioning assistant. The access rights can be configured individually per user and/or per computer based on the requirements. A data backup is created daily. The PDA is available in German, English and Spanish.
